Hulu Orders Comedy Pilot ‘Future Man’ From Seth Rogen And Evan Goldberg | TV News

 

THR today (August 22) reports that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s comedy pilot Future Man has been picked up by Hulu. This is the latest in a long line of collaborations between the childhood friends, whose highlights include Superbad (2007), Pineapple Express (2009) and This Is The End (2013).

 

The half hour pilot will focus on a high-ranking professional gamer stuck in a janitorial job. The protagonist’s life is turned upside-down, however, when time travellers return from the future in an attempt to recruit him for his highly specialized skillset. Little else is known about the project at this time, however the pilot was written by the scribes of upcoming Rogen project – Sausage PartyKyle Hunter and Ariel Schaffir. Future Man will join AMC’s comic adaptation, Preacher, and FX’s animated Bigfoot in the growing list of Rogen and Goldberg’s upcoming TV projects.
