Indie pop singer Lisa Crawley has us spellbound in her latest single ‘The Right Way”. Co-produced by Crawley and Grammy-nominated Rob Kleiner, whose shared cultural influences – Jon Brion and The Office (UK) – have shaped the creative process of “The Right Way”.
The music is about trusting and choosing the right moments in complicated situations, especially in relationships, rather than letting doubt, anxiety and all the bad emotions take over.
But more than that, over guitar and drums, with her singular voice, Lisa Crawley talks about trying to live and accepting that it will always be like this to some extent and that it’s okay.
Lisa Crawley was born in New Zealand and is now based in Los Angeles. Her musical career began at school where she taught other children to play the recorder. Now, with three EPs, two albums, and numerous singles, the singer performs around the globe to thousands of people.
She’s also been recognized by the big boys with three Silver Scroll Award nominations and performances at SXSW, Canadian Music Week, and has twice been selected for the Songwriter’s Residency at the prestigious Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
The award-winning singer has announced the release of her third album in mid-2021. So it shouldn’t be too much longer.
