James Gunn revealed that he and Margot Robbie have discussed working on another Harley Quinn project.
Indeed, this is what the writer and producer Gunn announced on his Instagram account. During a question-and-answer session on his account, a fan asked the director if he intended to work with Robbie again. In response, the producer said, “Margot and I discussed this just the other day. We will have to see what happens”.
This message leaves the fan very hopeful that Margot Robbie will be back on screen for James Gunn for a new Harley Quinn project. James Gunn has previously called Harley a “favorite DC character” and said that Margot Robbie is “probably the best actor I’ve ever worked with”.
After her last appearance in Birds of Prey last year, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will be back for her third film in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad in August.
Margot Robbie has played Harley Quinn since the 2016 film Suicide Squad.
Although this message on producer James Gunn’s Instagram account leaves a lot of hope for future collaboration with the actress. It should not be forgotten that both Margot Robbie and James Gunn are very busy at the moment.
Indeed the actress is filming Pirates of the Caribbean for Disney while James Gunn is working on his film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for Marvel.
