Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated Dior’s ambassador and face already in 2012, but for the fashion brand 2017-fall campaign she unveils a brand new look.
The brand’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and photographer, Brigitte Lacombe, have shot elegant black-and-white portraits of Lawrence sitting in very simple locations such as chair and a futon pillow.
She wears black Bar jacket and statement ‘Dior Addict’ or ‘We Should All Be Feminists’ tees in a very understated and relaxed mood. This campaign is very different from the previous ones, which saw the actress more posed and with a polished style.
The new Dior ads presents Lawrence as an everyday woman could be and could wear, in order to be more appealing to the Millennial consumers.
The accessories play a great role in this ad campaign: from chokers to long necklaces featuring birds and stars to rings, they all give more representation to the look. Don’t forget the handbag styles updated with charms and wide crossbody strap, including the famous Lady Dior.
