Josh Brolin To Star As Himself In ‘The Untitled Josh Brolin Project’ | TV News

Josh Brolin reveals fans will see more of his ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ character Thanos

No, that’s not a working title. Josh Brolin will reportedly star as a version of himself in a new series called The Untitled Josh Brolin Project. The actor is already having a mightily impressive 2018, having played major roles in two massive blockbusters already – Deadpool 2 and Avengers: Infinity War – and with Sicario 2: Soldado on the horizon as well, things continue to look up for the actor.

On top of all that, he’s now reportedly sold the aforementioned TV series to Hulu, in which Brolin will star as a self-help guru version of himself. The New York Times describes the show as being about “a soulless movie star named Josh Brolin who leaves Hollywood, has an ayahuasca trip and becomes a self-help guru”.

This won’t be the first time an actor has played a skewed version of themselves, but seeing Brolin in that sort of role will be interesting, especially considering his past and his recent rise towards the top of Hollywood.

The series is currently in the very earliest stages of development. While that awkward title might eventually be changed, the show itself could turn into something worthwhile, whenever it eventually arrives on Hulu.
