Whilst currently doing the rounds promoting her new book Strong Looks Better Naked, Khloe Kardashian stopped by Ellen DeGeneres on Monday and revealed that she learned of Caitlyn’s transition on camera.
In the Keeping up with the Kardashians special About Bruce which premiered before Caitlyn Jenner’s E! docu-series I Am Cait, the family is seen struggling and dealing with Jenner’s gender identity through deep and insightful conversations. Khloe in particular appeared to be having an emotional time and revealed to Ellen that it was because of how Caitlyn Jenner had chosen to break the news to the family.
“Well I had a hard time because I found out on camera, like while we were filming”, Khloe revealed. Khloe admitted that she had confronted Bruce on several occasions about the rumours that were circulating at the time, but was instead met with denial which was exceedingly hurtful and resulted in a feeling of exclusion. “But really he knew he was transitioning but wasn’t being honest with us” Khloe said, “so we felt like we were kind of the last to know, so that was hard for us. Especially me”.
