‘Killing Eve’ Final Season To Be Released In 2022 | TV News

Killing Eve will soon be coming to an end, with AMC Networks announcing earlier this week that the series will have its fourth and final season in 2022. Production hasn’t started yet but it should begin this Summer. There will be a total of eight episodes and Sid Gentle Films will be producing for BBC America.

Because of the pandemic, everything was delayed but production will be taking place across Europe and the UK, with Laura Neal confirmed as the head writer for the season. The two stars of the series, Sandro Oh playing Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer playing Villanelle, return for the finale as well.

Both actresses are already looking forward to getting back in character, with Sandra Oh saying, “Killing Eve has been one of my greatest experiences and I look forward to diving back into Eve’s remarkable mind soon” and Jodie Comer adding, “Although all good things come to an end, it’s not over yet. We aim to make this one to remember!

Regarding the premise for the final season, we don’t any information but if it picks up from the ending of the third season, which sees Villanelle and Eve Polastri making a deal to never see each other again (or not), we are sure their entanglements are not over just yet.

The series also hasn’t even finished yet but rumours have it that AMC is already talking about a spinoff with new plots, new characters, and much more.

We don’t have any precise release date of the final season and the third was finished nearly a year ago, but we should get more information in the next months about this new season and what the finale will look like. While we wait for that, we can go and revisit the previous seasons.
