After months of waiting and mystery about the new album Chemtrails Over The Country Club, the new album from Lana Del Rey is finally out!
For almost a year now, Lana Del Rey has been talking about the release of this album, and the day of its release has finally arrived. This is the seventh studio album of the singer, it includes 11 tracks with a very folk sound, featuring the tracks “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” and the album title track “Chemtrails Over The Country Club”, as well as the previously shared “Tulsa Jesus Freak”.
Chemtrails Over The Country Club also includes a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “For Free” which closes the album.
This album follows her critically acclaimed 2019 album Norman F**king Rockwell, as well as last year’s spoken word project Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass.
Lana Del Rey has been releasing almost one album a year for the past decade but her music is still as desired as ever.
The singer took to her Twitter account to promote the release of her album, posting a photo of the album on vinyl at Walmart and adding “What a pretty day in L.A. to release an album”.
This new album, like the previous one, is produced and composed by Jack Antonoff.
