Aerogram is the name of the latest collection of leather goods for men from the French luxury house Louis Vuitton.
Aerogram represents a lightweight writing paper that can be folded into letterhead and sent by airmail, and the luxury house has chosen Aerogram to symbolise the art of travel. The collection echoes this universe and conveys a more contemporary vision of travel than ever before.
The artistic director of the luxury house, Virgil Abloh, has created the Aerogram collection, which features a folded structure or slanted cuts at the ends of the accessories that recall and associate it with the voyages of Concorde.
The collection includes leather pieces, such as a clutch, backpack or zippered backpack, Messenger or Keepall bag, tote bag or Sot Trunk phone box, all made in the house’s signature black grained leather. Some pieces even retain the brand’s recognisable luggage label, evoking a travel aesthetic.
The collection represents Virgil Abloh’s masculine style while combining the art of travel, which is deeply ingrained in the luxury house’s heritage. Aerogram symbolises a modern vision of travel, with the elegance and know-how of the House of Louis Vuitton.
