The new trailer for the next Marvel Studios movie is here, Spider-Man: Far From Home, produced by Sony Pictures, and it contains a massive spoiler for Avengers: Endgame so look away now if you need to. The trailer dropped on the same day that the Russo brothers declared that the ban on spoilers arbitrarily ends today.
Seriously if you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame, I advise you not to go any further.
The first trailer focused on a holiday trip to Europe with Peter (Tom Holland) and his friends, but some events may disrupt the happy trip with a certain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). The new trailer tackles other issues linked directly to Avengers: Endgame.
After the warning spoiler, we see Peter Parker who is struggling with Tony Stark’s death (He dies during the fight against Thanos from the last Avengers) and Peter also is teaming up with Mysterio against Elementals.
The most exciting is Mysterio mentioning that he is from another world. MCU finally introduces the Multiverse and the fact that the trailer hints that Spider-Man may be the next Iron-Man as Peter’s line “The world needs the next Iron-Man”. It makes sense that a teenager would consider following the footsteps of his role model and biggest supporter.
Can Spider-Man take such responsibilities? We’ll find out on July 5 in cinemas.
