Moroccan Canadian rising star Satya has just released her brand new video clip for her recently released music “In Trouble”.
Her new single was supported by Spotify on their New Music Friday Canada and Fresh Finds: Pop and made it into the ADISQ BDS Top 100 in Montreal.
Produced by five-time SOCAN Award-winner Domeno, “In Trouble” is a pop track that features Satya’s warm and powerful voice.
Satya comments on her song and the inspiration behind “In Trouble” saying “this song is about finding true love but also feeling like you could be in trouble because you’ve lost control.
‘In Trouble’ means a lot to me because I never expected to find this kind of honest and genuine love. This is first and foremost what I wish people the most. I wish they find the love they deserve, that they find someone who will make them shine”
Satya did not have an easy life, abandoned at birth in Morocco, she was adopted and continues her life in Canada. She quickly fell in love with singing and music, but she had to fight her inner demons and her addictions/
She tried to take her own life at the age of 18, which marked a turning point in her life and with the help of her family, she began rehabilitation treatment and began to find her way back to her love of music.
Today, she shares in her music, a message of hope, and wishes to help young people in their own struggle. “We are all survivors of what we have experienced, but our past does not define us. We own our futures”, adds Satya.
