Rock band NEEDSHES, founded by Tashkent-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Otabek Salamov, has recently released the vibrant new single “Unbelievable”.
Over the years, the band has achieved a great recognition for their singles “My Heart”, “Time to See” and “Anything You Want”, and such live performances as the one as special guests at the concert of You Me At Six on August 15 in Moscow.
Regarding the new release, “Unbelievable” is actually the second song from the two-track single called “When The Music’s Going Through You”. While the first song, titled “Superstar”, is about the dream of being a superstar, “Unbelievable” is the most introspective track of the release.
In particular, the single start with a delicate soulful sound and the singer’s warm vocals. However, rhythm quickens out of the blue and the song becomes energetic thanks to disco dance vibes and catchy guitar licks. “Unbelievable” is, therefore, quite a surprising song, which makes it hard not to dance.
The disco dance part is deeply influenced by such artists as Daft Punk, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai, and by the masterpiece ‘Random Access Memories’. Nonetheless, the band managed to create an original sound and to make the transition between the two parts of the song fairly smooth.
While waiting for new concerts to be scheduled and new projects to be revealed, listen to “Unbelievable” below:
