New Project With Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle And Adam Sandler In Sight | Music News

American comedian, actor, producer and filmmaker Chris Rock is currently working on a new script that will pair him with Dave Chappelle and Adam Sandler.

The Fargo star has revealed this in a recent interview the Hollywood Reporter. This collaboration could be very promising as they’re longtime pals and have already proved their great cooperation in different projects before.

Rock shared the screen with Sandler in the 2005 remake of The Longest Yard and the two Grown Ups movies. Furthermore they co-starred in last year’s Netflix comedy The Week Of. Rock also had a small role in You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, and a cameo in Sandy Wexler.

Chappelle and Rock are comedy colleagues but have never done an actual movie together, so things could get quite exciting for us.

At this early stage, the plot is still a well-kept secret, but THR described Rock as “giddy” about the idea. There’re speculations about another comedy project, but a more deeper and tragic movie in form of a dramedy could be possible too – especially because Rock has changed as a person and went through some hard times lately.

Moreover Chappelle is also leaning towards more dramatic projects at the moment, as his role in A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper revealed. We’ll keep you posted as this project develops further.
