‘Oh No It Isn’t! Oh Yes It Is!’ It’s Celebrity-Packed Panto Season | Events

It’s that time of year again, so if you’re feeling festive, get down to a theatre near you and you might just see a star in panto. Some big names are treading the boards this year: if you’re a Peter Andre fan, get ready to boo Katie Price, who’ll be playing the Wicked Fairy in Woking’s Sleeping Beauty. And Gok Wan will be waving his magic wand again as the Fairy Gokmother in Plymnouth’s Cinderella, alongside Paul Zerdi, the UK ventriloquist and America’s Got Talent 2015 winner.

Even stars from across the pond are joining in the fun. David Hasselhoff dons his finest Harry Styles-like curly wig to play Captain Hook in Glasgow’s Peter Pan; and Verne ‘Mini Me’ Troyer is hoping to raise big laughs in his UK panto debut as Lofty the Pirate in Peter Pan at the New Wimbledon Theatre, London. Peter Pan is proving popular this year, and all your Christmas wishes will come true when I tell you that the Chuckle Brothers are appearing as Starkey and Smee in Wolverhampton.

It’s behind you!
