At the 2023 Oscar Awards, which were held in the Dolby Theatre in the centre of Hollywood, Los Angeles, our favourite actors and actresses put on their best fashion outfits as they walked the red carpet.
The Oscar Awards “Red Carpet” (although this year’s carpet was really champagne in colour rather than red) is the pinnacle of fashion and elegance, serving as the world’s most gorgeous evening.
It’s a time when the greatest names in Hollywood flaunt their finest appearances and fashion houses debut their newest items. The red carpet has been blessed by a variety of gorgeous outfits over the years.
Once again, the beautiful collection of gowns that graced this year’s red carpet left fashion aficionados all around the world in awe. Many of the celebrities opted for styles that contrasted traditional and modern, creating appearances that felt both recognisable (glamorous and flashy!) and completely new.
There were several striking ensembles, like Cate Blanchett‘s exquisite and subtle draped Louis Vuitton gown with a touch of aqua blue on top.
Hong Chau chose a light pink Prada column dress with a train made of black sequins. Kerry Condon, an actress, shone brightly in a yellow strapless Versace gown.
Halle Bailey‘s aquamarine-colored Dolce & Gabbana gown made her appear like a princess, and in a purple Moschino gown, Angela Bassett exuded queen energy.
In an outfit by Saint Laurent, Lenny Kravitz wore a plunging silk shirt that showed off his toned chest and wide-legged pants with a broad cummerbund.
Salma Hayek wore a Gucci custom-made orange gown with orange sequin embroidery. She added a gold clutch purse as an accessory to her outfit.
