The 2010 action spy-thriller film Salt, which starred Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt, is getting a major television reboot. The original film followed Jolie’s character who, accused of being a Russian agent, goes on the run in order to clear her name. The film also starred Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
At the Berlin Film Festival, Sony Pictures announced that a TV version was in the pipeline, this time set in Europe instead of New York City. No Television Network is attached yet to this upcoming reboot, nor has it been confirmed whether it will centre on Jolie’s character.
