The creator of award-winning shows such as Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes is set to make her acting debut in the TV series The Mindy Project. Rhimes will play herself in the FOX show which airs next month, but no information has been revealed on the storyline for the episode. The TV show is based on the creator Mindy Kaling’s life, as she tries to balance her love life and career. The episode starring Rhimes is set to air on Tuesday 16th of September 2014 at 9.30pm. Shonda Rhime’s TV shows including How To Get Away with Murder will premiere their new seasons a week after The Mindy Project episode.
