Seafret, an exciting indie-pop band from Bridlington, are back with a brand-new single titled “Fall”. The powerful track about not giving up is accompanied by a music video directed by the band’s frequent collaborator, Stuart Alexander.
British alternative duo Seafret was formed by Jack Sedman and Harry Draper. The musicians, who have under their belt performances alongside the likes of Hozier, James Bay and Kodaline, dropped their debut full-lenght Tell Me It’s Real in 2016.
The album met with rave reviews and featured some of the band’s biggest hits, including “Wildfire”, “Atlantis” and “Oceans”. The latter was illustrated by a VMA-nominated video starring Game Of Thrones’ actress Maisie Williams.
Last year, Seafret first teamed up with producer and writer Ross Hamilton for their new EP named Monsters. Apart from the title track, the album featured three other songs, “Can’t Look Away”, “Bad Blood” and “Heartless”.
Having released their recent single “Loving You”, Seafret are back with another emotional indie-pop tune called “Fall”. Visuals accompanying both tracks were created by Stuart Alexander, who also directed the music video for the band’s previous offering “Monsters”.
Speaking about their most recent clip, Seafret said, “The video itself is based in WW1 where a soldier is on the battlefield, fighting for his life trying to get home. The track was written about not giving up when things aren’t going to plan and we feel this powerful footage is a true example of that”.
