Most people will know Snoop Dogg as a rapper and possibly as an actor, not as an entrepreneur. Another thing you may know about Snoop, however, is his much publicised love of marijuana. The 44 year-old from California has decided to test his entrepreneurial skills by delving into the business of cannabis in launching ‘Leafs by Snoop’. The products will first be sold at LivWell, a licensed cannabis shop in Colorado, and according to a company press statement will be “the finest quality cannabis one could imagine”.
In a statement on the official website, Snoop Dogg says, “wherever my musical journey has taken me around the world, it’s beautiful to see how chronic leafs are a common source of peace, love and soul that connects us all“. After describing himself as a “master of marijuana“, he goes on to state, “from the flower, to the concentrates, and edibles – it’s all hand-picked by yours truly so you know it’s the hottest product out there. It’s the real deal and you gotta get out to Colorado to try it first“!
