By the time this arrives, it will have been 12 years since a TV version of Star Trek was on our screens. But now that a teaser poster for the new Star Trek series, premiering 2017, has landed, it feels that much more tangible.
Despite this, virtually nothing is known about the series; we don’t know who is starring or when it will be set. What we do know is that it is in the safe hands of Alex Kurtzman and Bryan Fuller. We also know that Nicholas Meyer, the director of Star Trek feature films The Wrath of Khan and The Undiscovered Country, will be serving as a writer and consulting producer.
CBS’ Star Trek will premiere in January 2017.
