Last Monday, 27 June, celebrities met up at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to witness the 2022 BET awards hosted by American actress Taraji P. Henson which awards the Black artists in film, television, music and all other entertainment fields.
And for the traditional red-carpet show, the stars have pulled out their best outfits and blessed our eyes with stunning clothes.
The first celebrity to catch our attention is American rapper Lizzo who burst into the scene with a gorgeous navy Gucci gown matching her stunning platform heels, R&B singer Ari Lennox has also pulled out a dark dress from Nedret Taciroglu collection.
Actress Cynthia Erivo and singer Lucky Daye have chosen to appear in a colourful set of clothing like an echo to the month celebrations, respectively in Louis Vuiton 2023 cruise collection composed of a cityscape printed top and skirt while the second artist has appeared in a rainbow suit jacket.
The colour pink seems also popular recently, Mouna Traoré pulled out a strapless pink gown while Sean “Diddy” Combs was wearing a hot pink suit along black sunglass.
Victoria Monét has hit the red carpet in a breathtaking brown sequin gown featuring a flourish inspirated corset while Daniel Kaluuya a blue-and-white suit along sneakers and a white tee.
