The Lutras – Fight Night | New Music

British rock foursome The Lutras have recently released an energetic new track titled “Fight Night”.

The group, composed of Ben Clements (vocals and guitar), Danny Heron (bass), Thomas Gillan (guitar) and Finlay Maxwell (drums), connected over a common influence of 60’s/70’s rock. This influence, as well as other pop influences like The Faces, Eagles, and Paulo Nutini, is evident in their music style.

The Lutras have toured across the UK for more than two years, building a strong fanbase. Their sold out shows like the one in their hometown Dumfries, Scotland, and the support slot with Vida at Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh, prove their great success.

Regarding the new single, “Fight Night” is an electric and vibrant song, which features indie rock vibes, powerful vocals and amazing guitar solos. This single is about the working class youth, who stays out all night, drinks too much and gets into situations that could have been avoided. Bruce Rintoul, who had previously collaborated with Twin Atlantic and Fatherson, produced the song.

Rintoul will also work on the demos the band is currently writing and recording, with two singles planned for release this year. The Lutras will then kick off a new UK tours hitting Glasgow, London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester.
