The New Burberry Collection By Riccardo Tisci Is Finally Here | Fashion News

Is it fair to say that Riccardo Tisci has revolutionised the Burberry brand? We certainly think so!

Riccardo Tisci is a renowned Italian designer who decided to move on from Givenchy in order to become the creative director of Burberry. In fact, he was the protagonist of the London Spring/Summer 2019 Fashion Week.

Tisci chose to pay tribute to the Burberry of the past by creating a collection which incorporates the beige colour – the Burberry colour of excellence – but he made a lot of changes too.

He decided to invest in the trench coat, this item of clothing became the emblem of womanhood.

Even if he decided to use the typical colour of the brand, he shocked the fashion week audience with a throwback to the past – the dark shades. He took a chance on 90s nostalgia by using the typical colour used in this decade.

It’s not all about the beige and black, the animalier style is back and for Tisci this pattern is going to stay for a bit. Burberry has shown even the basics essentials during this fashion week too. In fact, there were a lot of black dresses that were included in the catwalk.

The catwalk was graced by the most famous models of the moment, such as Kendall Jenner, Cat McNeil, Riley Montana and Mariacarla Boscono who has painted her hair for the occasion.
