Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Spoof Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ On SNL | TV News
With all due respect to Taylor Swift and her impressive squad full of inspirational women (hello Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez), but what do I have to do to become a part of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s squad?
On Saturday night the duo co-hosted SNL and treated us to plenty of laughs, but one of the highlights was when Fey and Poehler recreated Swift’s now famous music video for Bad Blood – which quickly became the most talked about music video of the year due to the hype over it’s star-studded cast. Everyone from Swift’s BFF Gomez to Ellen Pompeo made an appearance in the post-apocalyptic action video.
During a press conference for their film Sisters the duo were asked that traditional question, how do you balance being working mothers? Their answer? An epic rendition of Swift’s music video. Fey and Poehler’s video may be less star-studded but it does include everyday heroes, women who help them in their day-to-day lifes; Amy’s nanny, Tina’s nanny, Amy’s other nanny, their shared gynecologist, the guy who returned Amy’s wallet, funny lady Amy Schumer, and Gayle King.
Check out the short clip below, which features Schumer doing her best slow motion post-apocalyptic walk!
