UK Rap Artist Still Shadey Unveils New Single ‘Elon Money’

Following his recent successes, including a Channel 4 feature with Zeze Millz and winning ‘Best Gospel Act’ at the 2022 MOBO Awards, British rap artist Still Shadey is raising the bar in the UK rap scene with his smooth-drill release, “Elon Money“.

The track boasts a captivating saxophone sample and showcases Shadey’s audacious lyrics and hard-hitting flows as he reflects on his MOBO win, community work, and plans to headline the O2 Arena.

Well-known for his uplifting and versatile music, Still Shadey’s clean content sets him apart in the rap community. His single ‘Like an Eagle’ received praise from BBC 1Xtra’s Jeremiah Asiamah, who recognized the positive twist on the hip-hop sound.

After a six-week hiatus, Still Shadey announced his 6th studio project, set to drop on September 17. Having faced numerous challenges, including a critical car crash in 2020, the rapper has since become an advocate for physical burnout and mental health awareness.

His upcoming project, HTKAC, explores themes of trauma, faith, family, and healing in a unique, children’s storybook style. The artist aims to inspire listeners to learn from pain and embrace the possibility of change.

Still Shadey’s incredible journey includes surviving multiple stabbing incidents and overcoming experiences with county lines and criminal exploitation. He now works closely with St Giles, a national charity focused on tackling youth crime and violence, to provide support and guidance for those in need.

After a breakthrough BBC appearance in 2019, Still Shadey has collaborated with artists such as Wretch 32 and Big Narstie on community-interest projects and spoken and performed in schools and prisons as part of his social advocacy.

As he continues to release hit after hit, the South London rapper solidifies his position in the hip-hop world and shines a light on the potential for change.
