Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter Lyyn Unveils New Track ‘Coyote’

New York-based indie pop artist Lyyn returns with new single “Coyote” after her successful 2020 hit “Heat Wave.”

Drawing inspiration from ’90s dreampop and children’s folktales, “Coyote” tells the story of an untamable love that was never meant to last. The song opens with moody vocals and wildlife samples, accompanied by half-broken piano chords, before transitioning into a warm and vibrant chorus.

Lyyn shared that the song emerged from a spooky encounter with a coyote during a sunset walk in L.A., which she took as a sign from the universe to create and release the song. “Coyote” will be available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, Amazon, Google Play, and other platforms on Friday, April 7th.

Lyyn, a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter, is known for her compelling narratives, skillful lyricism, and infectious melodies.

With a background in classical piano and oboe training, Lyyn’s music combines futuristic beats, earthy vocals, and emotional storytelling. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lana Del Rey, Cocteau Twins, Roy Orbison, and Robyn, Lyyn’s sound is both familiar and uniquely her own.

Lyyn has received acclaim for her previous works, such as “Heat Wave,” “Our Place,” and “Out of Breath.” Critics have praised her captivating pop sound and her ability to convey raw emotions through her songs.
