The famous Fast & Furious franchise is back for a ninth movie, with Universal delighting all fans of the saga by unveiling the second trailer of the film.
A first trailer was already unveiled in January 2020, but we had to wait more than a year to have access to this second trailer. Indeed, the COVID-19 health crisis prevented the long-awaited film from being released earlier.
But Universal hasn’t stopped at a simple trailer as we also now know the theatrical release of the film which is scheduled for June 25.
In this new three minute and twenty-second trailer, we can see some of the well-known action scenes from the franchise as well as the actors who will be present for this ninth movie.
Amongst the cast, fans will have the pleasure of seeing Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang as well as Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren.
We also know that wrestler John Cena will play the villain, rap artist Cardi B will make an appearance in the film as well as Ozuna, but we don’t see them in the trailer, so we’ll have to wait for the theatrical release to find out.
Fans of the 20-year old franchise will be very happy with this news and will be able to see this highly awaited film on June 25.
