After receiving international recognition from his debut mixtape Project Paradise in the winter of 2020, Jr. Rhodes presents his anticipated latest single “Been On You”.
Releasing on SoundCloud and gaining attraction from his releases under Brandon D’souza, his passion expanded for music and then this is where Brandon adopted the stage name Jr.Rhodes; drawing inspiration from a Rhodes Piano, which is known for best for soul and jazz genres.
Born in Edmonton, Canada and began writing verses for hip-hop hits for school performances and from this, perusing rapping, Jr.Rhodes through his career thus far has gathered praise on his lyrics and uniquely sounding technicalities from hip-hop heavy artists such as Benny the Butcher and JID.
Jr. Rhodes’s latest release “Been On You” inspires the true feeling of love at first sight through a storytelling lens. Whilst the song is light-hearted and playful, the deeper subjects surrounding this single arise from a longing desire for a girl from high school.
