Chris Pine‘s fans can rest assured. The actor is officially back in the much anticipated sequel for Wonder Woman. The Warner Bros’ movie, which smashed the 2017 box office, has just unveiled its first images and our favorite pilot Steve Trevor won’t be missing from the action.
The first film, which saw Gal Gadot as Amazonian warrior Diana fighting the Nazi to prevent them from releasing a deadly gas on Earth’s population, had Pine’s character die at the end of the movie. However, from the first look at Wonder Woman 2, courtesy of Warner Bros, a fierce-looking Chris Pine is seen reprising his role as Steve Trevor, as well as a concerned Diana looking at a multi-screen.
Even though the script is still kept under wraps, we do know that the sequel will have director Patty Jenkins returning behind the camera, with Gal Gadot reprising her role as Wonder Woman, Kristen Wiig playing the main villain and Pedro Pascal rounding up the cast.
Wonder Woman 1984, this is the name of the sequel, cannot come soon enough as the movie will open in theaters on November 1, 2019.
