Up and coming Swedish singer Yaeger has dropped her single called “Infected” along with a music video to match. The rising pop-star has a busy schedule with a series of live shows and a new EP ahead of her.
Having released the track “Watch Him Fall” only a month ago, the 20-year-old artist is back with a new addictive pop anthem, “Infected”. The empowering track about dealing with negative emotions will be featured on her forthcoming EP, which is due to land in November.
“I tried to trap a whole lot of angry feelings into a song and also show that in the music video”, Yaeger said about “Infected”. “But in the video you see me turn something angry and sad around and make it something happy in the end. When you cross bitter people with bad energy in your life, just turn those suckers into a joke with your besties and move on. Be the happy ones!”
In the meantime, the charismatic singer will be performing a Stockholm show on October 28 and a festival gig at Iceland Airwaves on November 8. Yaeger, whose real name is Hanna Jäger, has already made her debut in front of a UK audience with her recent show at Sebright Arms in London.
Originating from Vaxholm in the Stockholm archipelago, Yaeger started her adventure with music studying at Rytmus, a school where the likes of Robyn, Mabel and Tove Lo also honed their songwriting skills. Fond of street culture and extreme sport, the songstress is not afraid to speak her mind.
Irresistibly catchy and full of youthful energy, Yeager’s songs attract attention with their honest and relatable lyrics. “I want to build a world that you will want to enter as I build it, making it work being as kind, open minded and happy as I am and can be”, the singer declares.
