Alicia Keys – 28 Thousand Days | New Music
So good to finally hear new music from Alicia Keys. The R&B singer’s sixth studio album is definitely coming out later this year via RCA Records, but in the meantime and to avoid any fans going too crazy waiting, Alicia just released a brand new track today (July 31). Listen below to her brand new single titled “28 Thousand Days”, a reference to the average life span of a human, where the author of “Superwoman” encourages us to live life to its fullest. “There’s only 28,000 days / Who would you love, where would you go, what would you celebrate / I’m tellin’ you that life’s too short to just throw it away / So have the time of your life”, she sings.
The 3-minute high energy life anthem track is produced by Keys herself, producer and husband Swizz Beatz, along with Harold Lilly and Mark Batson. “I’ve been dying’ to share this new music with you! And this is just the beginning believe me!!”, she said about the new single. The inspiring track is also going to serve as the theme song from an upcoming Levi’s commercial. Alicia Keys has been so missed and we are definitely keeping an eye and ear out for the album release date! Some goodness to look forward to 🙂
