Cilla Black’s Funeral Broadcast Live On Sky News Now | TV News
Cilla Black’s funeral is being broadcast live on Sky News, and will also be featured on numerous ITV programmes throughout the day, with many tributes to follow. Cilla’s family and friends are saying their goodbyes to the star during the funeral service at St Mary’s Church, Woolton, today, which began at 1pm, of which Sky News are streaming the service live – so go have a look now! However, if you are not near a TV, the Liverpool Echo is providing minute-by-minute updates on their website.
The funeral is also being covered on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, This Morning and national news bulletins at 1.30pm and 6pm, so you won’t miss out on Cilla’s farewell. Following the service, Cilla will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Allerton Cemetery by her parents. If you do wish to pay your respects, members of the public have been asked to line the two mile route rather than travelling to Woolton village because the church is quite secluded and a number of road closures and restrictions will be in place during the funeral.
