On Zane Lowe’s new radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Dr. Dre came onto the show to talk about his new album which is due for release on August 7. He spoke about the fresh youngsters that he teamed up with for the record: “The new artists man, I’ve got King Mez and Justus, these guys just came in and grinded with me throughout the entire project. In fact, most of the lyrics are written by us three“.
He also shared that he plans to donate, “all [the] artist royalties from the sale of this album to help fund a new performing arts and entertainment facility for the kids in Compton“. You can listen to the interview via Apple Music here.
