Conversations About Her

Elizabeth Mourns Her Husband In New Facebook Watch Series ‘Sorry For Your Loss’ | TV Trailer

There is no handbook or guideline to help you cope with the death of a loved one. People eventually leave and all you are left with is the feeling of loss and the void they have left.

Elizabeth Olsen navigates the aftermath of her husband sudden death in Sorry For Your Loss, a new Facebook Watch series that will premiere on the streaming platform starting September 18.

The series will follow “Elizabeth Olsen as Leigh Shaw, a young widow struggling to put her life back together in the wake of her husband’s unexpected death. The series dives into grief as an unavoidable, universal, transformative part of life. Leigh’s journey will teach us that grief is not something merely to endure, medicate away or “muscle through,” but an essential part of the human experience“.

In this 10-episode drama, dynamics between characters unfold and unravel as Leigh discovers new truths about her late husband. The trailer just released, shows Olsen back to her indie roots after her breakout performance in Martha Marcy May Marlene. Here she stars as a mourning widow who has to come to terms with her tragic loss.

With all of the major networks and streaming services on the haunt for the next This Is Us, I can see why Facebook was eager to back this one up. Olsen has definitely the acting skills to pull off another award-worthy performance and given the universal themes touched in the trailer, I’m sure people will be easily hooked on this one.
