Ezi Emela – No Lele | Music Video
Former Chanel model, Ezi Emela, is back with her brand new track and video for “No Lele”. The Mancunian, born to Nigerian parents, strives to convey all the influences of her life, both British and African, in her work.
“No Lele” opens bold and sexy, bass booming like girls grinding on the dancefloor. It definitely has vibes of a club track, however, there is a certain serious, grave element to it, too. African patois is evident on the track, almost as expected with Ezi.
The video, largely, seems smoky and claustrophobic, taking place, mostly, inside a club. There are moments outside the club, in a white sports car, but these are very fleeting and more or less at the beginning of the video.
