Some believe that after you take your last breath you experience an out-of-body sensation, that you look down upon yourself and your life flashes before your eyes and memories flitter like cards on a rolodex. Jhene Aiko shares hers with us in the striking new video for the reflective “Eternal Sunshine“, off her latest album Souled Out, in which she’s floating up and away from a severe car crash. Despite the grimness of it all, the serene expression on the singer’s face casts an ease and peace over you as you witness it all, and so it should, she’s “lived well” after all. Videos don’t come more compelling than this and artists don’t get more alluring either.
