Life as an exotic dancer isn’t easy. And things can go very wrong sometimes, if Jhene Aiko’s new video for “Wading” is anything to go by. She released her major label debut Souled Out in September this year, and it’s a collection of moody, airy alt R&B tracks which display both Aiko’s fragility and resilience. Here in “Wading”, one of the album’s three singles, Aiko is completely transfixing, and is truly irresistible eye-candy. A bad man drops something nasty in the drink she’s about to sip on, obviously intending to completely ignore the standard ‘no touch’ rule, but before anything happens, a knight in a black suit that can throw some mean punches and kicks comes to her rescue. It’s not all over though, a potentially fatal showdown awaits. Watch the video for “Wading” below.
