MTV Set To Launch 90s Classic Channel | Music News
MTV will rebrand VH1 Classic as MTV Classic this August. It’s been 35 years since the launch of MTV. The debut hour will replicate the first hour of programming in MTV’s history, which will also be streamed via Facebook Live on their page.
It will feature “an eclectic mix of fan-favorite MTV series and music programming drawn from across its rich history, with a special focus on the 1990s and early 2000s”.
And guess what? The popular Unplugged sessions will also be featured! Including episodes with Nirvana and Bob Dylan. More than a good reason to look forward to Monday, August 1.
