Introducing 20-year old producer and rapper Nafets with his latest offering titled “France” which features emerging musician EMEKA and is produced by 10k Islands. The record is a soulful Hip-Hop record which highlights Nafets’ compelling inward-looking lyrics and smooth rap flow, with Emeka adding an essential gritty soul and refreshing vocals to the record.
Accordig to Nafets, France is “all about healing, love, and finding yourself. In the social media era, it’s super easy to get caught up in the lives of everyone around you and begin to compare yourself to others, and lose yourself in the process. I think it’s very important to be able to take a step back and be able to love yourself before you can healthily engage in loving others around you, whether romantically or not“.
The Maryland producer and rapper concludes that, “I think we all need to have a moment in our lives where we are truly alone, whether it’s after a heartbreak, or a period of isolation, or just some time off, we all need a space to explore ourselves and learn how to heal and love.
