Sinéad O’Connor Announces New Album ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss’ | Music News

 

Veteran, ever changing and sensational vocalist Sinéad O’Connor is to release her brand new album I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss via her new label Nettwerk Records on August 11th. The critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter has released nine previous albums in a career that has lasted over twenty five years, and her tenth album I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss will feature twelve brand new songs that showcase just how unique and rare Sinéad O’Connor truly is. The first single to be released from the album is titled “Take Me To Church” and will be released on the same day as the album.

 

Sinéad O’Connor has never failed to go beyond people’s expectations and blow them out the water and the new album is sure to prove that right. I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss is the follow up to the massive success of her previous album How About I Be Me (And You Be You)? which was released back in 2011 to critical acclaim. Aiming to showcase the very best of Sinéad, with all her passion and power, this new record proves how O’Connor’s voice and lyrics continue to demonstrate a vulnerability whilst still remaining strong and powerful.

 

This Irish sensation has crossed so many different genres and collaborated with such a diverse variety of artists such including Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack and The Chieftains, that she really has proved to be Ireland’s most iconic artists in the past 30 years.
