Two Nuns Fight Against Katy Perry’s Attempt To Buy Convent | Music News
Pop stars want it all these days, the fame, the fortune, the fans… their own convent. Yes, it’s actually true. California nuns are in uproar over Katy Perry’s move to purchase a pricey $14.5 million convent. Sister Rita and Sister Catherine of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, are claiming that selling the convent to Perry would be in violation of their canonical vows to the Catholic Church. The nuns are less than impressed by Perry after watching several of her music videos, commenting that, “well, I found Katy Perry and I found her videos and… if it’s all right to say, I wasn’t happy with any of it“. We take it you weren’t a fan of the firework shooting bra then, sister?
