Swedish singer, Tove Lo has released the funny music video for her remix of “Bitches” featuring Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant and ALMA.
“Bitches” is a dark electropop song written by Tove Lo, ALMA, Elliphant, Ali Payami and produced by Robin Florent and Scott Desmarais. The single was taken from Tove Lo’s third studio album Blue Lips and the track is an ode to lesbian sex and the beauty of females inspired by Tove Lo’s bisexuality.
It is worth noting that the featured artists have worked together in the past. Charli XCX wrote Icona Pop’s 2012 hit “I Love It” and Tove Lo has written songs for the Swedish duo like “We Got The World” and “Ready For The Weekend”. ALMA and Tove Lo also featured on XCX’s last mixtape titled Pop2 on her track “Out Of My Head”.
The music video is about a couple that has sexual problems and they go to a Tove Lo therapy session handled by XCX, ALMA, Icona Pop and Elliphant. In therapy, the couple go through many phases and also explore the world of BDSM.
