After all the rumors about the end of the almost 2 year relationship with rapper Mac Miller, then the rebound and then definitely fast engagement to American actor Pete Davidson (less than two months later), Ariana Grande probably now wants to show her talent in music again and has true reasons: she has come back with a new single, with a title that has a lot to say.
“God Is A Woman” sounds almost like a subtle critique to all this gossip and she really demonstrates her value as singer, in this sweet, perfectly Ariana-style song, embodied by the final chorus and with her prominent vibrant vocals during the entire three minutes.
For now, you can enjoy the new chilled track, accompanied by a lyric video, where words come out in an astronomical background, a universe full of stars; the clip closes with an artistic photoshoot of Ariana’s profile, that recreates the cover of the song.
Posted already on her socials, it is a sensual picture of her covered only by purple, white, and blue body paint. Pink shades and pony tail are her major features, and for the 25 year-old singer this is a representation of female empowerment, as she commented on the new hit saying “the universe is inside of us”.
“God Is A Woman” is the third single she has released off her upcoming fourth new album, after “No Tears Left To Cry” and “R.E.M“. Sweetener is scheduled to drop August 17.
