Amy Winehouse Documentary ‘Amy’ To Receive Special Screening At Cannes Film Festival | Music News
The forthcoming documentary about one of music’s most adored and tragic talent’s Amy Winehouse is going to have a special midnight screening at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The organizers of the famous event, which runs from May 13 until May 24, announced that Amy will receive the special midnight screening alongside a “musical accompaniment” from her label, Universal Records. The feature-length documentary from Asif Kapadia, the BAFTA Award winning director of Senna, will open in UK cinemas on July 3.
