Beyoncé Cancels Coachella 2017 Appearance | Music News

Beyoncé will not perform at Coachella this year.

The singer behind the incredible visual album, Lemonade, only recently announced her pregnancy and the doctors have advised her to keep her schedule lax in the coming months.

In a statement to the Associated Press on Thursday, Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer, Goldenvoice, relayed the bad news, but promised that Queen Bey would be returning to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2018.

Other headliners included Radiohead, who was set to perform April 14 and 21, and Kendrick Lamar, who was to perform April 16 and 23. Beyonce, originally scheduled to perform April 15 and 22, has now left behind a difficult spot to fill.

Performers confirmed for this year’s Coachella include Lorde, The xx, Bon Iver, Future, Gucci Mane, Justice, DJ Snake, DJ Khaled and Father John Misty.
