Renowned Cleveland band Hooked Like Helen has unveiled a deeply touching new single titled “Sleepwalker“. The poignant track serves as a heartfelt plea to loved ones wrestling with personal struggles, transmitting a powerful message – “Awaken, you’re not alone; you are loved and cherished.”

The emotive lyrics of “Sleepwalker” are the combined creative effort of Nikki and Jon Stipp (Hooked Like Helen), and the track was masterfully produced by Noah Henson.
Conceived in a serene home nestled in the woods about 40 miles west of Cleveland, Hooked Like Helen emerged from the combined musical dreams of Jon and Nikki Stipp.
The band’s five-song EP, Tragedy of Physics, released in 2019, propelled them to international recognition. This collection, co-produced by Nikki and Grammy-winning Isha Erskine, a long-time friend and collaborator, garnered significant acclaim.
The poignant piano ballad “Liar” from the EP was particularly well received. Its music video debuted on Radio Disney platforms and earned a nomination for the esteemed Hollywood Music in Media Awards for Best Independent Music Video.
The Tragedy Of Physics EP has been lauded by several prestigious music publications. CLASH Magazine premiered the EP’s flagship single, “No Turning Back“, commending it as “a soaring, hugely uplifting piece of bouncy, addictive alt-pop.”
Furthermore, Nikki contributed seven original scores to the 2021 Sports Emmy-nominated documentary series, Golden: The Journey of USA’s Elite Gymnasts.
Adding to their impressive portfolio, Hooked Like Helen’s “Surface Break” was featured in the emotionally charged documentary The Dream Is Now. Directed by Davis Guggenheim, the film spotlights the challenges faced by children of undocumented immigrants in the United States.
