Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons have collaborated with Converse for a new version of the classic Chuck Taylor 70’s.
Converse’s most popular product is the Chuck Taylor, arriving in the early 20th century. The design of the Chuck Taylor All-Star is made of various materials such as leather but the original and most widely known version of the shoe is made from cotton canvas. The innovative detail of the original shoe was the loose lining of soft canvas.
The new releases, dropping at just the right time with summer soon approaching, are made of a cotton canvas and constructed upper, which sits atop a chunky rubber sole unit, while CDG iconic heart logo appears on the side areas of each.
