Daniel Wilson – If You Went Away | New Music

If You Went Away” is the fourth song released by Michigan singer-songwriter Daniel Wilson from his upcoming EP Boy Who Cried Thunder. Daniel has already displayed his potential for emotional, sincere song writing with previous songs “Heartbreaker” and “Boy Who Cried Thunder”, which have been released over the past few months. Each song so far had shown his pop capabilities but “If You Went Away” shows the artists ability to create a simple but effective ballad. The song gently rises in emotion, backed by staccato piano notes and then strings and a bass drum and backing vocals.
