Eminem Sells Limited Edition Fragments Of Childhood Home | Music News

Eminem

What better way to commemorate an album’s sixteenth anniversary than to sell fragments of the home which featured on the cover? The Marshall Mathers LP was released on May 23, 2000, and Eminem‘s childhood home makes up the album cover (same goes for 2013 release The Marshall Mathers LP 2).

As yesterday was the anniversary of the former album, Eminem has re-released The Marshall Mathers LP on cassette along with bricks from the aforementioned house, and dog-tags created with wood from the building. The tags also have the address and Eminem’s real name – Marshall Mathers – stamped into them.

More information about these items can be seen here, and the sentimental merch itself can be bought here.
