Two years ago Freddie Gibbs and Madlib came together to create one of the most critically acclaimed albums of that year, Piñata. With the likes of Raekwon, Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller featuring, and more.
During his talk with Red Bull Music Academy, Madlib announced that he and Gibbs will be releasing a new collaborative album titled Bandana. Furthermore, Madlib revealed that many of his beats that were rejected for Kanye’s Life Of Pablo, will be used for the upcoming project.
Gibbs confirmed the news by posting on Twitter, however there isn’t any other information at this time. Bandana is expected sometime this year.
